Welcome to Dingo ("we", "us", "our"). Dingo is a mobile app that enables users to discover and connect with others via random matching for video calls, audio calls and chat messages. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have regarding your information.

Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve the Service. Types of information we collect include:

Account Information: If you create an account we may collect your display name, username, profile photo, email address, phone number (if provided), and password (securely hashed).
User Content: Messages, text chats, profile details, and any content you upload or share through the app (photos, short bios, etc.).
Communications Data / Call Metadata: We collect metadata about audio and video calls such as call start/end time, duration, participants, and connection quality metrics for troubleshooting and billing purposes.
Payment & Billing Information: When you purchase paid features (for example premium calling or credits), we collect billing details needed to process the payment. Payment processing is performed by third-party payment processors — we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. See "Third-Party Services" below.
Device & Usage Data: Device identifiers, operating system, app version, IP address, device type, crash logs and analytics data about how you use the app.
Location (Approximate): We may infer approximate location from your IP address to provide localized content and fraud prevention. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly grant permission and the feature requires it.

Do we record audio or video calls?

We do not record audio or video call content by default. However, we may process and retain call metadata (see above). If we introduce a feature that records calls, we will inform users and obtain explicit consent before recording. Please review in-app prompts and settings for any changes to recording behavior.

How We Use Information

We use the collected information for purposes including:

To provide, operate, and maintain the app features (matching, video/audio calls, chat).
To process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
To personalize the experience and connect you with relevant matches.
To analyze usage, monitor performance, and diagnose technical issues.

We retain personal information as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies.

Children's Privacy

Dingo is intended for users who meet the minimum age required in their country (typically 16 or 18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the permitted age. If you believe a child under the permitted age has provided personal information to us, contact us at support@justdingo.com and we will take steps to delete such data.

Your Rights & Choices

Your data may be transferred to, stored, or processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
